HAL® S1030

HAL® S1030 Dynamic Airway and Lung Compliance Simulator

Details:
HAL S1030 is a full-body, computer-controlled patient simulator designed for training respiratory care students and professionals on the treatment and management of respiratory diseases using a real mechanical ventilator. Just like a real patient, HAL features a lifelike airway, can hold P.E.E.P from 5 to 25 cmH2O, trigger the vent’s breath assist, change lung compliance and bilateral bronchial airway resistance, exhale real CO2, and much more. Together, these features allow educators to simulate diseases and conditions such as ARDS, COPD, and asthma as seen in real life.

HAL® S1030 Dynamic Airway and Lung Compliance Simulator

Programmable Lung Compliance
Create scenarios using our proven, easy to use, HAL® software.
Intubation
Practice intubation and management of anatomic and pathologic conditions.
BVM, Intubate or Mechanically Ventilate
Connect our simulator to your REAL ventilator, which can be set by volume or pressure.
Includes Laptop with 15 inch Display
Change lung resistance/compliance “onthe-fly” and see results on a real ventilator which are recorded on the laptop.
Lung Compliance
Use our pre-programmed pathologies or create your own.
Process Ventilator Information
Receive real time feedback from real mechanical ventilator.
Software

Programmable Lung Compliance
  1. Program tongue edema, pharyngeal swelling and laryngospasm
  2. Specify four anterior and four posterior lung sounds, upper right, upper left, lower right, or lower left.
  3. Independently controlled airway resistances.
  4. Specify inspiratory time and rate, inspiratory/expiratory ratio.
  5. Ten levels of static compliance, 15-50 ml/cm H2O.
  6. UI shows real time feedback from mechanical ventilator
  7. Set patient trigger rate to trigger the ventilator
  8. Automatic event log detects intubation and ventilations
  9. Click the NOW button to change HAL®’s condition instantly, or click one of the other buttons to create a trend.
  10. Status window shows HAL’s current physiologic state
